Rainier National Park. This image was shot from an elevation of about 8,000' on the North side of the mountain. For some perspective, it's another 6,500 feet to the summit! Mt. Rainier is one of the crown jewels of the National Park System and was established on March 2, 1899 as the fifth national park in the United States.
