The @DrawingCenter’s Open Sessions is a hybrid exhibition/residency program where artists work together to expand definitions of drawing and find new approaches for contextualizing and exhibiting their work. The current iteration of Open Sessions, “Marginalia,” includes artists who tackle contemporary geo-political and ideological constructs. The exhibition features works by Daniel Bejar, Ana Peñalba, Sue Jeong Ka, Carolyn Lambert, Srinivas Mangipudi, Irini Miga, and Rodrigo Valenzuela.
