Photographer / stop-motion enthusiast Joel Strong describes his aesthetic as “1990s dad sitcom dad”—which is basically all you need to know about him… oh, except that he has a piece in the International Center of Photography @icp. But seriously, he’s living the dream as a full-time artist, working with large crews on multi-day shoots on huge stop-motion projects. “My work started with cutouts from old Tiger Beats, but the key is in the doing, the constant creating. You’ll never know where you’ll end up,” Joel says.
