Did you read about Clifford as a kid? This is the original illustration of Clifford the Big Red Dog that inspired Norman Bridwell to write a children's book.
He originally named the dog Tiny, but his wife Norma recommended the name Clifford after her childhood imaginary friend. The little girl is named after Bridwell's daughter, Emily Elizabeth.
