Through June 30, #FelixGonzalesTorres's "Untitled" (Public Opinion) (1991) is on view at Jus Broadcasting as part of Lenka Clayton (@lankaclaytonstudio) and Jon Rubin's (@jonrubinstudio) project #CircleNY. The artwork, which is part of the Guggenheim collection, has been installed at the Jus studios and will also make an appearance on their TV programs. Consisting of wrapped licorice candies that viewers can take and consume, "Untitled" (Public Opinion) invites physical and intellectual engagement. The impermanence of the work, which slowly disappears over time unless it is replenished, suggests the fragility of life at the time of the AIDS crisis, the first Gulf War, and beyond.
