Photo by @andywcoleman // The blue hour comes pretty late in the summer in Alaska. We were fortunate to be heading by New Eddystone Rock near the entrance to the Misty Fjords National Monument at the end of the day. This is a 237 foot high basalt pillar originally formed by a volcanic vent millions of years ago. Taken while on an Expedition aboard the National Geographic Sea Bird. @natgeoexpeditions #natgeostaff
