Today The Duke of Edinburgh attended a Presentation Reception for 350 DofE Gold Award holders and their families in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award, developing over 400,000 young people for life and work every year in the UK.
Since it was founded by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1956, 6 million people have participated in DofE programmes.
