There are a lot of parameters on which you can evaluate the athlete’s SNATCH technique. One of them is the vertical bar movement indicators (Hmax is the maximum height of the lift and Hmax-Hmin is the movement of the barbell in the dip from the moment when the maximum height is reached to the low-squat position).
According to the modern data the optimal Hmax is 68-78% of the athlete's progress (73.5% on average).
The majority of coaches believe the Hmax-Hmin index should be minimal (11-16 cm) and it characterizes the economics of the technique in the SNATCH, but also depends on the flexibility and mobility of the joints of the lower body extremities.
