Land of the midnight sun. At 12:38AM the sun slowly skims across the horizon only to climb again to mark the beginning of a new and endless day at 73 degrees North in the far Canadian Arctic. Since growing up in the Arctic as a young kid, this world of ice, snow, vast vistas, aurora borealis and the nomadic existence of great species like polar bears has lived deep in my veins. When I am in the polar regions I am home.
