Flashing back to two weeks ago today when I shook paws with low content wolfdogs in Alberta, Canada ??.

Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary in Cochrane rescues high and low content wolfdogs. Because guess what? As gorgeous and awesome as they are, they don't make great pets and need sanctuary after their owners realize they can't keep them.
.
You CAN visit them though, and you can even feed them treats. Most importantly you can learn more about these wolf / dog mixes and why they prefer space to a home. .
Or just go and shake paws with them. Just THAT will make your day. (Bonus: they have GOATS at the sanctuary!)
