To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what was up there, but it seemed like heading toward the light was a good idea.

Then I realized I had no plan once I got up there and my guide was in the other room and really, I didn't want to miss out on lunch so I came back down. #mondaymotivation

BTW - this is one of my fav places in Oman, Bahla Fort. It was taken during my Nat Geo photo expedition in the Middle East. Built possibly between the 13th and 14th century, most Omanis believe it was a school for black magic.

So really, that ladder thing could be a trap. Good thing I gave up. #winner
