⬅️Swipe left for the full day! ⬅️ “Only do it if you’re comfortable,” I said of the Ironman Scramble, a 5.6 jaunt behind the popular boulder problem. Students of @the_climbing_academy, a traveling high school that splits time between crag and classroom, leapt to their feet in eagerness. We quested up the kitty litter with enough adrenaline to fuel the rest of the day’s climbing (shoutout to Georgia for possibly the first @vans ascent ?)

Getting to hang with @the_climbing_academy was such a fulfilling experience. The students are empathetic and intelligent, while also showing huge respect for their surroundings (particularly impressive considering their group size). They are psyched to climb and supportive of one another. I felt lucky to join their family for a day and only wish that the Academy was around when I was their age!

Hats off ? to the instructors and parents for making an institution like @the_climbing_academy possible. Cheers to @jasper.gibson for the rad ?’s!! And thank you, truly, to the kiddos. You guys brought me back to my teen years for a little bit - it’s good to remember what those days felt like ?
