I spent #Thanksgiving Day in Bishop thinking about how much pie I would eat if I sent my project, and how much pie I would eat anyways if I didn’t ?? I thought about family and friends, gathered in their own celebrations, missing their warmth and company. I thought about @james_lucas sitting next to me, stoically supportive, as I raged a monkey’s war against tiny crimps.

The fact that I am in this beautiful place, that I have family and friends to miss, that I have a person who would choose to sit under these rocks with me - those are the simplest, and most important things I am thankful for.

I sent A Maze of Death (V12) on Turkey Day and didn’t have to worry about how much pie I would eat. It would, naturally, be the whole pie ?
