「東北のお伊勢さま」開成山大神宮と開成山公園
Kaiseizan-Daijingu Shrine which is located next to Kaiseizan Park is called "Oisesama(Ise-city) in Tohoku", and it is crowded with many visitors in the New Year's visit and cherry blossom festival. First built in 1876, this shrine was founded to house the divided Ise Shrine's spirit. So cool! Kaiseizan Park is a symbolic park for Koriyama citizens and very popular among the residents. The symbol of the development of Koriyama City's Asaka district, Kaiseizan Park has approximately 1,300 cherry trees, making it one of the prefecture's most prominent cherry blossom spots. During cherry blossom season, the trees are lit up in the evening.
