日曜朝市が開かれる漁村の村 #マルサシュロック ！
Visited #Marsaxlokk where the Sunday market is held!!

マルタ島の南端に位置するマラサシュロックは、
日曜日の朝だけ大掛かりな朝市が開かれます。
.
新鮮な魚介類や野菜が中心なので
観光客にとってはお土産くらいしか買うものはないんだけど、
日本では珍しいお魚や、目の前で捌かれる魚たちを見てるだけで楽しい♡
築地の朝市を見てる気分と似てるのかなぁ？笑

マラサシュロックで有名なのは、写真にも写っているカラフルな船?
これはマルタで昔から使われている、伝統的な漁船?
.
なんと船の船頭には「目」が描かれてて、
この「目」たちが、船を海難から見守ってくれるんだって！✨
素敵なオハナシだ。
世界中のあらゆる交通手段につけてほしいよね…！

Mara, located in the southern part of the island of Malta, the big market is held every Sunday morning.
.
The products are mainly for local people (e.g. fresh seafoods, vegetables…etc) , but it was interesting just looking around. I could find many interesting fishes which were not common in Japan, and also I could see the fishes are cut into pieces dynamically just in front of the customer! .
The popular thing here is the traditional colorful fishing boats?
There are eye drawings in front of the boat, and they keep the boat safety!! What a lovely story isn’t it? I wish I could have those eyes in every transportation vehicles in the world!!
