We climbed and climbed and climbed and when we came to the top your head got stuck between my legs and we almost fell off the tower laughing. The feathers in your hair are right in front of me now. I'm trying to not be so attached to these material things but it's hard. I have this top. That bag. That bracelet. I pulled the necklace you are wearing here out of a bag marked Toxic Waste just a few days after I took this photo, but by then it was stained murky brown and a dark red that was almost black. I didn't recognize it at first. I have a hard time breathing when I think about it so I have to keep reminding myself; these things aren't you. You are not in those feathers that bracelet this top or blood stains on a necklace permanently edged into my brain. You are the force that keeps my heart beating. The magnetism that moves the tide. The light reflecting off the moon. The excitement of my dogs when I open the front door. The rain that falls when I never expect it to. You are everything that moves and stirs and makes this life go round. You are the will to live I feel in my soul and you are here with me climbing climbing climbing up we go. The only way is up. I won't look down but I know that when I reach the top you'll be there by my side. We'll laugh and almost fall over because, well... Just because. Life is so silly. The only way is up and I love you
