The peaceful bliss of breastfeeding a 9-month old...??? And yeah, she’s latched basically the entire time. MY POOR BOOBS? I have a feeling nursing is almost over... This is a pretty calm moment - in a normal feeding she leaves the boob literally every 5-10 seconds to stand up or turn around or laugh. She’s been sleeping 12-hour nights for the last two weeks (thank you @thesleeplady !!!) and in the beginning I would wake her up to nurse but she’s not interested at all even when she’s sleepy. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I’ve been feeling super down about it because I would love to nurse for much, much longer. I’m hoping it’s just a phase (she’s SO close to walking and even takes little steps on her own now - could that be it??) and that it’s not over but if it is, I’m grateful we got this time❤️?? Not everyone is able to breastfeed and I’m super thankful for these 9 months. She’s a little wiggler, this one! Never still. Always smiling. I love her so?? .
