13 December 2017 ❄️ At 00:40 GMT @jimmy_chin reached the summit of Ulvetanna. The previous hours had us climbing wide cracks interspersed with an occasional ledge.
For the two of us it was a pretty emotional moment. It was our first climb since the Meru adventure and with Jimmy as a dad. It was my reentry back in the adventure groove after getting set back by a coronary incident. Did we both have the drive and ability to “enter the cave”? Would we get clobbered and “stuck in the cave”? Life questions will elude if you never seek to ask. Having a partner to share in these experiences is a fun life-affirming way to find out what really matters. Family and friends.
