Hey everyone, @jordan_robins here for my last photo of the day! I have had a really great time sharing my favourite underwater images with you all and I really hope that you enjoyed it too. This last image was captured on a recent trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It is another “over under” image where you can see above and below the water, captured in a single exposure. This shot too was also captured using an underwater flash to illuminate below the water and balance the exposure with the sky.
Above the water is the sky illuminated a fiery red from the setting sun. Below the water is a Green Sea Turtle gracefully gliding over the coral in the lagoon.
This was a very special experience as moments after I captured this image the colour in the sky slowly began to fade as the turtle swam off into the distance, a moment that I will never forget.
