What a beautiful weekend with memories that grew my heart a few sizes and that were nothing short of magic. My hat’s off to the wonderful @franklinchristoph crew, @mrericorozco and @carnivalofpens for organizing an incredible show and creating such a smooth-running, welcoming and fun atmosphere. So much so that I missed getting any selfies and good show photos. But you know it’s an extra special experience when you completely forget about your phone and are just in it. Big shoutouts to these amazing souls: @eejiny, @penmon_1, @rightonthenail, @inkdependence, @mrmgward, @fountainpenday and @lbny84.

Another highlight of the show was meeting Margaux and Søren of @pegandawl, the loveliest of kindred spirits, and making ourselves cozy in the middle of the floor with our goodies along with a fun adventure to follow later. In light of that, I had to get their new All Black Finch as a commemorative bag that will always be connected to such a storybook weekend.

And last but not least, I sort of went full out with my show haul. As many of you may (or may not) know, I tend to be a loyalist with certain brands. I am particular about it because it’s not just the stellar products but the heart and integrity of the people behind them, which makes all the difference in the world. So it only felt right with such a special show, to invest in the Special Edition Philly Show pieces at @franklinchristoph from fountain pens to special inks, pen cases, pocket notebooks and covers. As they say when in Rome... or #phila... you go all out.

The only thing I wish I had but didn’t get is that time didn’t fly by so fast. But the best times always do, don’t they? ✨
