The World at Night project
Swipe left for this 4-part panorama of Kilimanjaro in moonlight. Photography of wild life is not easy in natural night light due to their motion in long exposure, but the main challenge is to find and frame them properly at night in a telephoto lens, while you have to use all senses on any approaching noise, to avoid an encounter with a big predator!
Here you find two Giraffes, acacia trees, and head of a zebra (under the main giraffe). They were totally invisible to my eyes but revealed in this 2-sec exposure.
The main peak of Kilimanjaro is Kibo that reaches 5,895 m (19,341 ft). The smaller peak Mawenzi is 5,149 m high (16,893 ft). @babaktafreshi explore more of our planet’s wonders at night.
