The fish that almost killed me!
On my trip to Cabo Verde to film for @aguanegrathemovie I didn’t realize I spilled oil of a tuna can in my mask until I was in the water. Despite the fact that I couldn’t barely see, I took the (rather stupid) decision of shooting the big wahoo in front of me anyways (hunger makes you stupid). Next thing I know, the fish is circling me, my mask is leaking water and I’m finding myself in a pretty shitty situation! I yelled at David to double shoot the fish before it got me too tangled as I’m desperately trying to swim away from the float line (and trying to see it). After two drops, David finally gave it a second spine shot and probably saved my life. Spearfishing is definitely a team sports! My biggest wahoo so far!
