Even google is celebrating #PieDay! I should say when it comes to pie, I am more of a savory girl than sweet (this almost never happens anywhere else). I love Italian (and Greek) rustic pies filled with veggies and cheese, flaky and buttery. However I can never say no to a good crostata, which although not my favorite cake, when baked well (a not filled with a sweet jam), can win my heart over. Shoutout to Guia @thisishomebnb who made this beautiful and absolutely tasty crostata during our #PhotoLabPadova workshop, and to the queen of all pies @alicekiandra.adams who makes the best effing short crust, puff pastry and frolla I have ever had.
