Ringing Point in Seal Harbor, Maine, was the favourite summer place for the Rockefeller family since the early 1900s.

A multi-level cottage, it fitted beautifully into the landscape. Its large, high-ceilinged living room provided views of the Atlantic Ocean and the small islands surrounding Mt. Desert Island.

Masterpieces that graced the walls of Ringing Point included Joan Miró’s ‘Peinture murale I-II-III’ and Diego Rivera’s ‘The Rivals’.
