When Mazzy and Harlow were babies, we used to go to this playground every day. Then school happened so we no longer went during the week. Then we bought the house so we no longer went on the weekends. We’ve been doing some renovations on the house this year so we’ve been spending more time in the city on the weekends. Now that it’s spring and we’re outside more, I’m realizing how much I’ve missed putzing around NYC with the girls with nowhere in particular to be. I’ve missed this playground. It’s also crazy to see that Mazzy is now one of the biggest kids here. And there’s a whole new community of parents with babies and toddlers who I’ve never seen before. Feels a little bit like I’m the graduated senior visiting my old school wondering where all these freshmen came from.
