This is me on the last night of our trip. We were at Big Sur River Inn, where they have Adirondack chairs in the river so you can relax while your kids play in the water. It was perfect. Even better? The daughter of the owners of the inn is a long time fan of my blog. She left me a note in my room, which made our stay feel extra special. If you are interested, I wrote a blog post about all the reasons why I am blogging less. One reason is that as my kids get older and my life revolves more around traveling and seeing and doing, there is less time spent in front of my computer. More and more, I find myself sharing my life in Instagram stories or writing longer captions on my pics, rather than sitting down and writing a blog post. I guess this is what Instagram wants- us to spend more time here and have less reason to drive our followers elsewhere. But I struggle with letting go of my daily blog posts, since I’ve been doing that for the past eight years!
