A new world auction record! Tonight, Rembrandt’s ‘Christ Presented To The People’ has set the highest price for an Old Master print, and a print by the artist, in our Old Masters Evening Sale in London.

The rare print realised £2,648,750, including buyer’s premium, quadrupling the previous record set in 1990.

In total, our Old Master Evening Sale achieved £31,187,000 ($41,229,214).
