Belgium, it’s been a pleasure ?? So, how was my first proper solo travel experience? Pretty damn awesome! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m so glad I finally found the time to book it in ?? I have found it super interesting reading the messages I’ve received this weekend. The vast majority of them asking if I was lonely, scared, nervous, unsafe or even bored travelling alone ? In fact I’ve been none of these things! It’s been amazing to do what I want, when I want. I’ve been able to explore on my own schedule according to my own preferences; and I’ve been able to fully immerse myself in a new country without any distractions or compromises ??‍♀️ I genuinely think solo travel is something everyone should try. It forces you to know yourself, be comfortable by yourself and to push yourself out of your comfort zone ? Quite honestly, I am someone who is fiercely independent and enjoys their own company so it was my idea of heaven! ?
