For the longest time I’ve been trying to match my very yellow-olive-y neck and I have a feeling I’m doing it wrong, especially since my decolletage and shoulders is lighter and more neutral. Maybe I should just wear a lighter foundation on my neck instead. LOL. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen and do skincare on your neck otherwise you’d end up being a bobblehead like me! — #Vintorte (Light Yellow Beige + Highlight Beige) • Mica, Zinc Oxide, titanium oxide, silica, silk, aluminum hydroxide, iron oxide • I like this formula for light coverage. There is some shimmer in the Highlight Beige shade but it doesn’t show up on my face. Highlight Beige is a touch too neutral on me so I added a little Light Yellow Beige (straight up yellow powder) but I’m pretty sure I got the ratios wrong because now the powder is too yellow ? — #OnlyMinerals (6 Light Ochre) • Matte: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Iron Oxides • Colour is perhaps a touch light in depth but I can pull it off. The shade up, Ochre, is too peachy. The matte formula, however, has barely any coverage, is patchy and drying. I did try a sample of their pressed powder foundation and it felt a lot smoother with more coverage. Will see if there is a match. — #LucyMinerals (Creamy Olive, Pale Olive) • Lucy Light: Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Iron Oxides • I like this formula the most - super creamy, non-drying and full coverage. The tiniest bit goes a long way unless you want a cake face.
