So when I was younger my mum would drop me at school parties and say “You insisted on coming here so DO NOT ring me in 30 minutes asking me to pick you up”. I would laugh and say “mum, I won’t, I won’t” .... then I would ring her “mummm can you bring me a warmer jacket”.. so she would come BACK to the party with a warmer jacket and I would get in the car and say “hi ... what’s your name” and she would say “Urgh..
