What was posted today by “an official government” account of the Saudi-owned state media was utterly reprehensible but no more so than the Saudi government’s suspension of various education, diplomatic and economic ties with Canada and dramatically less reprehensible than the Saudi human rights record which initiated the Canadian statement that launched this spat in the first place. The US’ tacit support of the Saudi regime despite their multitude of human rights abuses in #Yemen and at home is nothing short of cowardly. Standing in solidarity with the beautiful hosers in Canada, the best neighbors you could ever want.
