Madeira, Portugal was one of the most beautiful place I ever been to. The color of the water, the mountains, the food. Everything on the island made me fall in love with it. The most heartwarming thing to see was all the efforts they are making to be as sustainable as possible. They create energy by solar, hydro, wind, biomass and sea waves and they have extensive locally grown vegetables!
