What’s next?
We get this question a lot as most people don’t realize we actually have 2 seasons during the year.
1. National team (Summer)
2. Professional (Fall-Spring)

After World Championships, our summer as well as the national team season will end for all of us.

Since USA does not have a domestic league, everyone will leave for their respective professional teams throughout Europe and South America. Some are luckier than others and will get to spend the next 8 months with another American or two but most of us go solo, into an uncharted world by ourselves.

How do we choose where to sign?
Each league differs in level, money and the foreigner limit.
For example in the Russia league only 2 foreign players can be on the court at the same time, in Italy you can have 4, Poland you can only have 3 and Germany is unlimited.

There are also smaller factors such that can play a big effect on where we decide to play professionally such as the language (and or if people in that country speak English), the size of the city, other Americans on the team, the notoriety of the team, winter weather and overall quality of life in that particular city.
