Day one of my journaling journey with the new @meeraleepatel book Made Out Of Stars. The first question in the book asks, “What are you learning now?” I decided to use one of my little pocket wildflower notebooks to do a bullet journal style log of my adventure through Made Out Of Stars. My first entry: . . “I am learning that fear can arise out of the strangest of places. We typically expect it to crop up when things are not going well, and fear certainly does do that, but fear can also arrive when everything is going so well, almost like a pirate trying to plunder a smooth sailing ship.” . . (Swipe to see the handwritten entry) . . I think I should almost revisit @meeraleepatel My Friend Fear book alongside this one. It’s interesting how as we walk through various legs of terrain the different parts within us that suddenly surface. It could be joys, a certain freeness, or sorrow and fear. I’ve experienced all of the above as I’ve caravanned through this past year but I know that in all of it, every jot and tittle will serve to strengthen my roots and nourish them so that when it’s time for new blossoms to open, they are long lasting in their radiance.
