Delighted to present the Platinum Long Service Award to Mr Khoo Kim Seng at an appreciation dinner for grassroots leaders and volunteers in Teck Ghee last night. Kim Seng has served the community for 40 years! 70 volunteers received Long Service Awards. Also met many new ones who have signed up for this journey. With everyone pitching in, our activities have become bigger and better. This year, the Police recognised the Teck Ghee team for being the Most Active Citizens On Patrol Group, and we won the PA’s Chingay 2018 Award for Best Audience Contingent, and Most Creatively Decorated Mobile Structure! Well done, everyone! Hope that our older volunteers continue to serve actively, and inspire the younger ones to commit themselves as wholeheartedly. It has been my privilege, too, to serve with you.
