Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // Shiprock under a sea of stars on a cold night. In Navajo it is named Tsé Bitʼaʼí, which means "rock with wings.” Shiprock rises nearly 1,583 feet (482.5 m) above the high-desert plain of the Navajo Nation in San Juan County near the town of Shiprock, New Mexico. It is a religious site for the Navajo people. The orange glow on the right side is the lights reflecting off low clouds from the town of Shiprock. #shiprock #navajo #navajonation #sacred
