This was Mazzy’s face right after she threw up a piece of popcorn and caught it in her mouth. I think that might have been a first for her. Also, this night was one of my favorite nights in a long time. The staff at @editionhotels brought up popcorn for a movie night as part of their family style package. We did a double feature of Peter Pan and The Sandlot, neither of which any of us had seen before. The Sandlot had some questionable content (particularly the scene with the kid who faked drowning so he could kiss the lifeguard) but I think I explained it okay. I have to say— it is so fun now that we can all watch live action movies together. I’ve been trying to think of movies I loved as a kid (ET, Goonies, Home Alone, etc.), but yesterday I realized that there must be a ton of family movies I’ve never seen from the ‘90s and the ‘aughts when I was too old for them.
