Bahati the leopard and two of her three cubs. When we found Bahati the leopard with two of her tiny cubs (10 weeks old) early one morning along the Talek River she was desperately attempting to usher her cubs to safety after being attacked by lions. She had three cubs and we did not know if the third one had survived - or if she would succeed in moving these two cubs to cover and hidden from the lions. Bahati is one of our favourite big cats. She is the daughter of Olive and granddaughter of Bella both of whom we followed throughout their lives - a legacy dating back twenty years. Bahati is 7 years old. ?: @thebigcatpeople @abrahamjoffe
