Here are two exercises that @bodyenroute has me doing:
>> first: for the hamstrings since as I climb with one foot with the boot on, I’m only activating my left hamstring; this one focuses on strengthening my injured leg, but you can do it with both legs if you’re still on two feet - really important for antagonist work if you are climbing on steep terrain and/or heel hooking. >> The second is an abdominal exercise for climbing on steep terrain and maintaining core connection between your legs and your arms. >> Some days feel easier to find motivation than others. I’m not used to living my life in an air boot but I’m keeping it on consistently so I protect my fracture and heal back to ? as soon as possible. Trying to keep the spirits high and the motivation alive... it helps to have a positive support network and I’m really grateful for my #boulder community!
