This release announcement is kinda bittersweet. Besides trying to crash her house on New Years 98 (unsuccessfully) I mostly annoyed the Queen 97% of the time (not in that likeable destiny’s child bug-a-boo way....more like that @meldcole sleepin outside the 7-11 down the street w his funsaver camera type way ????) of our 5-6 encounters? I spent every second begging for her to please let them put it out. Her preemptive eyeroll strike reeking of “bol if you mention that film ONE MORE TIME!!!!” ——never deterred me. I still maintained that film could save someone’s life. Maybe inspire them. Her response was always somewhere between (“hmmm & it will never happen”) i always imagine that associated annoyance was why she wouldn’t grant us the honor of being her band on #FallonTonight as opposed to that dreaded karaoke backup track she’d sing to (hurt piece man lol). I’m finally gettin my wish. Just feels weird man. I feel like the accolades and praise this film woulda given her (instant Oscar doc material btw) woulda lifted her spirits and really gave her an indication on how effortlessly she could change lives. I mean I saw a few mins and that was enough to make me just throw it al to the wind just pester her about letting #AmazingGrace see the light of day. Now it’s gonna happen. How sweet the sound.
