I took this photo at the waterfalls of the Rio Pequeno, as a group of Kayapo girls stood under a mighty waterfall, letting the water cool them off as they bathed on a hot afternoon. Water is important to us all, but it means everything to the Kayapo people. It is their lifeline. Water is a way of life, an eternal inspiration, and something to be inherently connected to. I'm thankful to have spent time in the presence of a culture so instinctively gratified by the gifts of nature. #Kayapo #Brazil #water #nature
