Sleeping beauty. Lions are among the few that can let their guard down enough to actually sleep in the African veld. They can sleep upwards of 22 hours a day in fact! This seems lazy but it takes a lot of energy to hunt, especially in the heat. Conservation of energy is life in the bush.
