"The moments leading up to taking this image were completely nerve-wracking. What you can't tell by the photo is that I am a little over knee deep in water and barefoot. The smooth rocks in the water were rather slippery and I was a little worried I would end up slipping and going under. I am rather clumsy in ideal conditions, adding the soft waves and slippery rocks was a recipe for disaster. I chose to set the ND Filter and focus the lens before heading out into the water. This was to ensure that whilst I was capturing the shots, there was no need to move around and change the settings.
