SLEEPING ON ASSIGNMENT // places I have sleep shooting stories for @ナショナルジオグラフィック // My temporary campsite on the crater floor of Alcedo volcano in the Galápagos Islands. This is where I slept to photograph Giant tortoises overnighting in rainwater pools (Swipe to Pic 3) for my June 2017 @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine story ‘Life in Balance’. My most treasured memories from staying on the crater floor are being rocked to sleep by regular earthquake like rumblings and the hissing sound of the volcano’s sulphur plume gushing into the night sky. #bedroomgoals #tortoises #camping #wilderness #awe #volcano
