Massive #tabular icebergs, floating in dark waters along the Antarctica peninsula under stormy skies. Tabulars are large chunks of shelf ice that break off, the largest in documented history was in 2017 when a Tab the size of Delaware, an estimated One TRILLION ton chunk, broke loose from the Larsen C ice shelf. The scale of these icebergs is daunting and the scene a beautiful one, however the rate and scale at which this is happening is alarming. #Antarctica is melting rapidly and the decisions we are making as humans need to be changed if we hope to slow down climate change.
