yesterday I did 30 reps of deadlifts to counteract my doubts and fears. I pulled iron to retaliate against the burden of limiting beliefs, the shallow breaths of anxiety

?the weight room has been my therapy session for over 4 years. and I still can't emphasize how important it is to get out there and move your body.

?beyond the physical benefits, I believe our mental health heals with movement - namely movement with intention?

to breathe a little harder for your betterment,
to stretch for self-improvement,
to throw, jump, push, and pull for empowerment?

?ps: my cup of tea may not be yours. if weightlifting isn't your thing, remember that movement is movement!

you may fancy running or yoga or cricket or dance?
maybe it's long walks with your dog, or taking your kids to the park?

the point of this post is to move. and to move with intention????
