Did you know a tax bill was passed in 2017 that made a ton of changes to the way you get your refund?

The IRS encouraged filers to review and update their W-4 forms, but most Americans -- 80%, according to a recent survey -- didn't.
If you're among those who didn’t, you could get a smaller refund this year than you anticipated. You might even owe money to the IRS.

And if you haven’t reviewed your W-4, or aren’t familiar with the form, you’re not alone: More than half of Americans couldn’t tell you what a W-4 is.
