So most of the exercises that I do while pushing are basically antagonistic muscles to climbing. I’ll start by saying I am NOT a Physio and do not have proper schooling in physiology, I am merely writing down my day to day thoughts ?

I’m working here towards Planche progression and you’ll see the different to normal dips is that my chest is much farther forwards and I’m rotating much more over them. As the example here, I can only do ~5 of these and I can do easily triple that with normal dips!

I’m also not the greatest at pushing exercises in general hence all this cross training. With the new style of boulders in the last few years, there is so much pushing now: dihedrals, volumes, mantles, slabs to name a few.
