〜Part 4 • Chic Lifestyle 〜

In my previous post I talked about how decluttering my wardrobe helped me define my style. And once I started to realize that living with just few of the good quality things which makes me feel happy, my lifestyle became more ‘simple & chic’. A Chic Lifestyle.

For example, it gradually transformed to having simple nails & makeup. No more glittery gel nail and spending more than 10min for makeup. Surrounding myself with very few but timeless & quality furniture that makes me feel happy. No coins /car keys scattered on coffee and dining tables. Everything is simple and organized, and has a fixed place in a drawer so you won’t have to waste time or stress to search for it. Mess and disorder is not so chic is it? (I will share this in my Story later)

My choice of everyday homeware changed as well. Having few but good quality items like cutlery, dishes, bed linens and towels. Softest towel from Imabari Japan, using special cotton and twill techniques makes my shower time enjoyable. Silky and crisp white bedlinen makes me feel relaxed at the end of the day.

Having a simple approach made me realize the small happiness and fulfilment in everyday life. It’s not about the appearance or material things. It’s the way of thinking and how you approach lifestyle. A Chic Lifestyle.
