Photo by @lynseyaddario | Looking through my archive, I found one of the outtakes from a project published in Nat Geo about India’s coal industry. I photographed laborers shoveling coal into trucks in the Urimari mine in Jharkand, India, on September 6, 2012. Most of India's thermal power stations and factories are powered by coal, and villages were being engulfed by open-cast mining of coal across the state.
